In the last session, pupils will make an excursion to "Parc Natural de Collserola".
During the stay, the students will realise a route with a specialist monitor called "Matinals a Collserola", the lasted of wich is of 3 hours. The monitor will explain the main features of the fauna and flora that exist in the Parc. At the end of the session the teacher will make groups of four students. An each group will distribute the following tab to fill:
Animals know than inhabit the area
Species of trees
Other natural elements that find (example: funguses)
Positive elements of his habitat
Negative elements of his habitat that can perjudice to the species.
*Of the negative aspects that can prejudice to each one of the species, indicate also the causes for those that produce and the actions that rotted to carry out the human to try improve them.
The children will tab from what they observe in the environment and the information received.
Finally, we will share what each group has notet in their tab and will be a short discussion around the three following qüestions raised by teacher:
a) How do we think will be our forests in a few years? b) What should we do each for us to conserve nature and the species that live there? c) What do you must surprised of what you have learned?
We will try that this activity is that students have a active and critical paper.
The teacher has to guide the process of finding and analysis splitting of a series of knowledges that has to have previously.
The information that the master has to have previously to do properly his orientative task is the following:
"The Parc Natural de Collserola finds to the Saw of Collserola and situates between the rivers Besòs and Llobregat. They predominate mixed forest of pine and enzima. In regarding the fauna, can find foxes, goats, squirrels, pheasants pigs wild boars, rabbits, aguila, snakes sties and small insects like lizards, go in of others.
Some animal of the zone that find in danger of extinction are: the aguila imperial or the black stork.
Some zones haven't good conditions for the life of these animals and plants owed to the excessive felling of trees and vegetation, to the forest fires, erosion of the floor, garbage that they contaminate since they suppose toxic substances, shortage of water and of food (other animals or plants).
Some actions that can do the human to improve the ecosystem of the Park would be: collection of rubbish, plant trees or plants, respect the environment, and recycle".
The aim of this exit is that the students take a critical attitude with the medium where find, trying improve those aspects that are not favourable for the living beings and for the planet. In addition, to the realise all this U.D in english, contributes to the improvement of this language.
